Garndolbenmaen, or "Garn" as it's known locally, is a village in the county of Gwynedd, in Wales, within the Snowdonia National Park, home of Mount Snowdon — the highest mountain in Britain, south of the Scottish border.
Many of the old cottages of the village have renovated as holiday homes, making Garn a very popular base from which to explore the national park, as well as the rest of Wales. This village is very rural, featuring a traditional pub and restaurant, along with a small handful of convenience shops, although the location is within easy reach of several larger towns and villages with a choice of supermarkets and regular weekly markets selling fresh local produce.
